"Rising star Jennifer Vosters commands attention on the stage."
-Mike Fischer, Theater Forward
Welcome
I am an actor, writer, director, and musician based in Chicago (but born in Wisconsin!) with a passion for telling stories on the stage and on the page. My solo play, Songs Without Words, won the 2024 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award from the American Theater Critics Association and has completed two mini-tours to theaters and festivals around North America. What's New
It's not new, but #BlackLivesMatter, and it's up to all of us to do the work to make sure this becomes a meaningful reality. Check in with #WeSeeYou: BIPOC Demands for White American Theatre and Black Theatre United's New Deal for Broadway.
UP NEXT: I'm back in Madison this winter to assistant direct and music direct The Hobbit at Children's Theater of Madison. Directed by Brian Cowing, this heartfelt romp runs February 7-22 at MYArts' Starlight Theater.

SONGS WITHOUT WORDS / April-September 2025
I was honored to conclude Two Crows Theatre Company's 2025 season with a two-week run of Songs Without Words at Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic estate. We were the highest-selling show in Two Crows' history and received this lovely review in The Capital Times. Over the summer, we enjoyed a near-sellout run and two Golden Lanyard awards at the Minnesota Fringe before heading to Saint Mary's College, where we gave two performances and several student workshops as the Margaret Hill Visiting Artist. We finished our season with two performances at the Elgin Fringe Festival, earning us an Audience Favorite award, and a final performance at Side Street Studio Arts' Going Dutch festival in November.

THE TEMPEST / April 2025
I was thrilled to return to The Tempest (this time as Ariel!) in a staged reading with the Shakespeare Project of Chicago, directed by J.R. Sullivan.

A DOLL'S HOUSE / January-February 2025
I made my Milwaukee Chamber Theatre debut as Nora Helmer in Amy Herzog's stunning adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic, directed by Leda Hoffmann. We broke MCT box office records and garnered beautiful reviews from The Small Stage, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ryan Jay Reviews, Ozaukee Living Local, Shepherd Express, and BroadwayWorld.
