Jennifer wrote the Prologue/Epilogue for the 2023 ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence anthology. It premiered live at Kennedy Center in November 2023 and will be published with the six winning plays by Dramatists, Inc. in 2024.
ABUZZ: a ten-minute play for preteens and teens about choices, success, unlikely friendships...and spelling bees. Premiered at Saint Mary's College, December 2015.
MEDEA: an original 75-minute adaptation of Euripides's iconic tragedy based on the translation by Ian Johnston. Premiered at Voices Found Repertory, December 2018.
My features and essays often explore the intersections of storytelling, spirituality, gender, and the arts. Along with the essays posted here, I have written half a dozen book reviews for Grab the Lapels, a travel article for Baker Street Babes, another feature for National Catholic Reporterin 2016, and a biweekly column for The Observerof Notre Dame and Saint Mary's from 2015 to 2016. I've also freelanced for clients including ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence, a small nonprofit, a myofascial release clinic, and a physical therapy clinic.
Creative writing projects include short fiction published in Slippery Elm Literary Journal and Bridge: The Bluffton Literary Journal and poetry published in Indiana's Best Emerging Poets and America's Emerging Poets: Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
